The main tank is a custom designed Tenecor 96x30x30 acrylic tank. Made from ¾” acrylic with the exception of the bottom which is ½”. The back is actually 1” since they added a piece of ¼” black acrylic to the inside to give it a black back.

We planned and researched for a long time to get the tank exactly the way we wanted it. Here are some of the drawings we came up with that Tenecor used to build the tank.

The back of the tank and the overflows is covered in black pond foam which can be had from several online sites including Custom Aquatic, and Dr Foster Smith. Check out the FAQ for more info on the pond foam as I get so many questions about it. Here is a picture of the foam on the tank.
