The Aquacontroller III PRO is the “brains” of the entire system and a very useful piece of equipment. It controls everything including heaters, chillers, frag tank lighting, main tank lighting and moonlighting.

I use x10 heavy duty receptacles for everything the aquacontroller controls instead of the modules and have had no problems at all with this setup. Being that the main display tank is 70 feet away from the sumproom I couldn’t use DC8’s. The main tank lighting is setup using the sunrise/sunset schedule and my current tank stats are always viewable from the internet and even this site. Keep in mind that our "current conditions" listed below are offset by 4 hours due to our lighting schedule. We do this in order to use the pre-programmed sunrise/sunset schedules of the Aquacontroller.
